Received this from a friend at our Brigadoon show yesterday. A photo from the orchestra pit and a poem:
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take –
but by the moments that take our breath away.”
I do not have information on the writer of this quote – seems a bit of a mystery with several different stories about it….
A young university student wrote the quote in the mid 70″s for Carleton Cards. At that time, Carleton paid 10- 25 cents for “contractors” to complete the verse with the visual. The young Canadian man earned up to a quarter for his words, signed them away not knowing the quote would become famous world wide.
