In Christmas 2008 I received a donation given in my name. I made a nasty blog post about giving donations at Christmas presents which has gotten me a lot of hate mail.

But one person from the Great White North took pity on me for Christmas this year and has sent me a giant box which I received today. I am under strict orders not to open it or the accompanying Christmas card until December 25, 2009 – which I will honor.
The box says “glass” on the outside and could be the size of a framed picture, but it’s also very light. It is my sincere wish that it is simply a Ferrari or Porsche that has not been assembled yet.
Shipping to China is no easy task and I’ve been made aware that the shipping was quite expensive. It made it’s way erroneously to Georgia or somewhere in the Southern US before being re-routed to China. So the package has already had quite an adventure.
For the rest of you that haven’t sent me Christmas presents there’s still time. You could still be a winner-winner-chicken-dinner for Christmas 2009. Think of me as one of the starving children in China. Cash and board games are also suitable presents.
