For the cutlass and small swords we bought plastic prop swords from Ebay.

Using real swords with children was a unique call by our director that was integrated with many, many hours of instruction on stage sword fighting techniques and choreography. It made me a bit nervous and I would prefer to use plastic type replica swords in the future.

my name is ben and our college is putting on a childrens theatre adapted piece of peter pan we need some advice on building a pirate ship which can be broken down and transported to and from venues whilst on tours, the simpler the better
