The website (http://www.millieandthementshn.com/aboutTheBand.php) provides rather thorough background about the group, which plays “chamber klezmer” and world music. We have put on a variety of performances that range from folk dances to multi-media concerts that involve narrations, music, and an ongling slide program. We have performed at various locations within the state as well as in Minnesota. More recently, we did a second set of performances in Fairbanks, AK, and participated in a week-long “klezfiesta” to which we had been invited in Buenos Aires. I’m simply curious about the possibility of a performance at The Muse. The group is not likely to be interested in an unpaid performance. But perhaps something can be arranged so that The Muse and the group can split proceeds in some way.
