The email proceeds to say that all cell phone numbers will be made public within a few days, so you need to hurry. That info appears to be bogus.<\/p>\n<p>All phone numbers, land line or cell, can be registered online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.donotcall.gov\" target=\"_blank\">www.DoNotCall.gov<\/a>. It is free. You only have to enter a phone number and an email for authentication. It takes about 30 seconds to complete the entire process. Once registered, your phone number will stay on the &#8220;Do Not Call&#8221; list for 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>It may take a few months, but once you are on the list those sales calls should disappear to almost nill. In some states you can take a company to court if they telemarket you three times.
