I made a nasty blog post about giving donations at Christmas presents which has gotten me a lot of hate mail.<\/p>\n<p>The nasty blog post is here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.conradaskland.com\/blog\/2008\/11\/making-donations-as-christmas-presents\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.conradaskland.com\/blog\/2008\/11\/making-donations-as-christmas-presents\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But one person from the Great White North took pity on me for Christmas this year and has sent me a giant box which I received today. I am under strict orders not to open it or the accompanying Christmas card until December 25, 2009 &#8211; which I will honor.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The box says &#8220;glass&#8221; on the outside and could be the size of a framed picture, but it&#8217;s also very light. It is my sincere wish that it is simply a Ferrari or Porsche that has not been assembled yet.<\/p>\n<p>Shipping to China is no easy task and I&#8217;ve been made aware that the shipping was quite expensive. It made it&#8217;s way erroneously to Georgia or somewhere in the Southern US before being re-routed to China. So the package has already had quite an adventure.<\/p>\n<p>For the rest of you that haven&#8217;t sent me Christmas presents there&#8217;s still time. You could still be a winner-winner-chicken-dinner for Christmas 2009. Think of me as one of the starving children in China.
