Merry Christmas 2010 from Macau, China. It’s mid-November and they are already putting up the Christmas trees and decorations around here so it’s time to dig out some of my Christmas music.<\/p>\n

This video is We Wish You a Merry Christmas from my CD “A Dog’s Christmas” by The Barking Dogs. I produced this for Christmas 2005 and it’s been a favorite with my friends that have a sense of humor. And despised by those that don’t.<\/p>\n

This was one of the most fun projects I ever worked on. I had free time before Christmas and thought, “What’s a fun album I’ve always wanted to produce but never found the time?” And this was my answer. Christmas songs with dog barks.<\/p>\n

I actually spent quite a bit of time getting the dog barks just right. And I would play the pieces for different test subjects. If they didn’t laugh, I went back and re-did the barks. I also like how the music sounds like generic elevator music. To me the whole thing is very funny.<\/p>\n

As you can imagine, I’ve received a lot of funny emails from people telling me their family’s reaction at Christmas dinner. Also have received many emails from pet owners saying their dogs will try and sing along with the album.<\/p>\n
