The error is when trying to install Fantastico on WHM Accelerated (Cpanel). From Cpanel when you click to install fantastico “You haven’t installed Fantastico yet. CLICK HERE to start the installation process” it just opens with the same window.
I tried complex fixes including using control panel for php compiling and even looked at changing the folder on the root server for Fantastico. But here’s the simpler solution that worked for me:
- In CPanel root on top left click “Tweaks”
- Select “Ioncube” as uploader
- Turn Register Globals to “on”.
- Save settings. Now your Fantastico install links should work.
- After installations you can turn Register Globals back to “off” for increased security.
Took me an hour to figure out. Hopefully you can find this post faster than that…
Thanks mate
worked a treat
try to find a fix for a few days
lets me install now
I seriously love you now!
Fantastico is one of the main reasons I switched to cPanel from Plesk and this has been driving me nuts all week. Thanks!!!
